Chlorosis

Chlorosis, also called jaundice, is a disturbance in metabolism with deficiencies of iron and manganese, with high content of lime as well as with compressed soil and dammed moisture.

Apple bitter pit

This is a nutritional disturbance at apples by nitrogen manuring too late or too amply. The infested fruits show brown, bitter parts of cells below the skin.

Dryness and wetness damages

Water is an important factor of growth. It helps as dissolvent and transfer agent as well as nutrient for plant and for humidification (cooling).

Frost damage

Damages by frost are no diseases like caused by natural diseases as virosis, but their marks are not easily distinguished from typical disease symptoms.

Premature bolting

Many biennial vegetable species sprout prematurely (premature flowering). It is an emergency behaviour.
